The perfect item for a School, University, Museums, Collectors, etc.
Vaca Muerta is a rare stony iron meteorite which impacted the Atacama desert (Chile) long, long time ago.
This meteorite was found in 1861 and is classified as a Stony-Iron Meteorite
If you are the winner bidder you will receive the meteorite, as shown in the picture, that will be cushioned to protect him from damage in the shipping process.
Some facts about Vaca Muerta:
This meteorite was found in 1861 in the driest desert of the world: The Atacama, Chile.
It is classified as a stony-iron, mesosiderite.
Eucrites are believed to have come from the asteroid Vesta. Mesosiderites are formed on the surface of a parent body as a result of impacts with another body.
Vaca Muerta is a differentiated silicate and metal rich meteorite containing many silicate and eucrite inclusions. For this meteorite to show such a varied and disrupted character, the Vaca Muerta parent body must have been impacted countless times by different types of material to break up, mix, and fuse the various constituent pieces.
Vaca Muerta has a very weathered exterior, but still has lots of metal inside.
This meteorite is part of a private collection that was given to me by my father, Claudio Canut de Bon, who has written articles in magazines and books about the subject of Meteorites and many other foreign and earthly rocks.
Vaca Muerta means "Dead Cow" in spanish. |

CURRENTLY PROSPECTING FOR NEW GOLD
Spotting fake gold. Before I give you an expert's opinion, I can tell you that fax gold, usually pyrite (but not always), is very shiny in certain angles of light. In other angles, pyrite or other materials will appear black. Also, pyrite-type material contains straight plains and edges. Gold is gold no matter the angle of the light, looks like frozen-molten metal as opposed to flat and reflective. Lastly, go is pliable under pressure while other materials have a tendency to break or crumble.
Let's see how well I have done. Below is a gold and fake gold comparison by a pro:
Tips On How To Positively Identify Natural Gold Nuggets To start with, "fool's gold" [iron pyrite (iron sulphide), chalcopyrite (copper pyrites or copper sulphide), or bismutite (carbonate of bismuth)] will only fool someone who has yet to see the real thing. The color alone is enough to identify fool's gold for what it is. If you study a gold nugget under a constant light source, whether sunlight or artificial light, you will see that the dull wax-like yellow color will remain the same no matter how the nugget is turned. "Fool's gold" on the other hand may look similar at one angle but then have a shiny, bright appearance when turned.
There should be no doubt at this point but if still unconvinced, place the sample on a flat metal surface and hit it with a hammer. Instead of breaking up in many small pieces, gold, being so malleable, will continue to flatten out and also retain its waxy dull color. Just remember before using the hammer test, that there is no use telling an interested buyer that the flat yellow pancake in your hand used to be a perfect miniature of their pet poodle as shaped by nature.

At this time, I will be charging between $.05 and $.08 cents per MILLIGRAM (1,000mil = 1 Gram, approx. 31000 milligrams = 1 Troy Ounce) - This is more than the spot price.
1. Natural picker gold, placer gold and gold nuggets hold a little more value and the price of gold is increasing in
value frequently.
2. I have low inventory at this time & sell in small quantities. As I increase my inventory, prices "should" come
down depending on demand.
3. You can be sure that the regular shipping rates for Gems of Nirvana stands the same for gold delivery and I
will not artificially increase that cost.
